Christopher Hamilton, or Christy as he was known to his family, died on 3rd January 2008 at the age of 65, following a battle with cancer. He lost part of one of his fingers in an accident years ago.
Christy lived with his wife Shirley in Greenwich, London, then they spent the last few years in Kidbrooke.
They had three children, Dawn, Lorraine and Gary. The grandchildren are Steevi-Jo, Shauna, Chloe, Kieran, Danni and Liam.
Christy put the great into great uncle for me. He was my Granddad's brother and was so funny. Amazulu's 'Too Good To Be Forgotten' was made for Uncle Christy. I will never forget you Uncle Christy xxxxxxxxx

YOU WERE BOTH LOVING AND KIND ALL THROUGH YOUR LIFE.YOUR HOME WAS ALWAYS OPEN TO US WHEN WE CAME FOR VISITS.YOU AND SHIRLEY COULD NEVER DO ENOUGH.IT WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU. DONT WORRY ABOUT SHIRLEY AND THE KIDS, THERE,S STILL PLENTY OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO KEEP AN EYE ON THEM FOR YOU. Your funeral last Tuesday was lovely. So many people loved you and turned up to pay their respects. I love and miss you Uncle Christy. Steevi, Shauna and Chloe were brilliant reading their tribute to their Grandad.
